We are the Values Majority.

And we have to stand proud for those values.

And start speaking from the heart, loudly. In emotional language. Calling ourselves the "Values Majority"

And waving the flag for our Values.

We value reproductive freedom and the information and education about birth control that creates economic freedom for women, and saves lives.

We will educate the ignorant and help bring peace to the hearts of the hate filled so that more lives will be saved.

We value the American Worker. We do not believe wealthy people are intrinsicallly more important than the other 98% of the nation. Or allowed to wantonly use more resources than the rest of us. We refuse to allow low wages and lack of benefits to continue to masquerade as ways America can "stay competitive".

We value our Planet. We will not tolerate abuse of the Earth. We will no longer allow theft of public resources for private gain.

We want the Government off our backs and out of our personal lives.

We believe the Government has no right to control women's bodies. We believe that all people are created equal. And that the goverment has no right to call any citizens less equal because of their race, religion, ethnic origin or in-born romantic preference for males or females.

We believe that the Constitution is a sacred document created to prevent tyranny of all kinds. And freedom of speech and separation of church and state are the pillars upon which our democracy stand.

We value Democracy.  We consider voting a sacred right. And we will not tolerate the abridging of that right from any quarter.

We believe a Free Press is necessary to a free society. And we will no longer support a lack of fact-based reporting. We demand a working press, working to bring us truth, not parrot opinion. And we expose the "balanced" parity premise for the lie that it is. There is no "equal time" for lies.

We know the framers of the Constitution could not anticipate how TV ratings could control freedom of information, so we will help our nation understand how they are being misled. And we will boycott sponsors who support manipulation of the news.

Most of the major cities in this country voted in overwhelming majorities for Kerry-Edwards. Philadelphia, cradle of liberty, voted 80% plus Democratic.

We have the power. We have the Truth. We must use our power to inspire and ignite a passion for the true Values that make America the greatest nation in history.

We are the Values Majority.

And we proudly declare our love of our nation. And dedicate our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor to insuring Freedom will endure forever.

If it's raining tomorrow, take 2 umbrellas to your polling place.

Shelter others in line while you wait. And after you vote, come back and do it some more.

Tell them "Kerry's Got You Covered".

Every vote matters. Every "safe state" Kerry-Edwards vote seals the victory. Big popular vote win blocks Rove's litigation plans.

So help others stay in line as long as it takes. If it's hot and dry where you are, take 2 umbrellas to offer shade. And some sealed, bottled water to quench thirst.

And stay calm and helpful to all. Remember, chaos is a Republican weapon.

And smile at Republicans, too. Because Democrats hold voting sacred for all.

The Republican Lackawanna Board of Elections just changed the voting locations of 21 precincts in the Scranton, PA area.

10 to 15 Thousand PA voters have to go to a new location in order to vote at all. And they don't know this.

The Board is sending a notice, tomorrow, but it's not even printed yet. And who knows if it'll get there or even be read.

Huge GOTV need in an essential state.

You can make a crucial diffence just by standing there at the old poll locations and convincing surprised and confused voters it's worth the drive to the new one.

The old locations will be closed. No one will be there to take provisional ballots or even offer guidance. The Voters HAVE TO GO to the new places in order to vote. And few may even know it.

Donald Rumsfeld had two goals: Invade Iraq. Destroy the Powell Doctrine.

That's why the insurgents are armed now.

And Karl is using "media infighting" or "Poke fun at the NY Times" to try and keep the public unaware.

Rove wants the story to be about Al QaQaa timing theories, not about how ZERO plans existed for sercuing arms. There weren't enough troops for it.

Bush, Cheney & Rumsfeld didn't expect an insurgency. They didn't think they needed to guard the arms.

Rumsfeld's techno-full, troop-lite theory included no planning for guarding any explosives. NONE. In and out in 60 days was the plan.

That's why the commander of the brigade who stumbled on Al QaQaa for a night in April didn't know he was sitting near enough explosives for 1200 Cole bombings.

In this morning's NYTimes he says that wasn't his mission. He had no idea. In other words: No plans to secure masses of destructive weapons.

Stop Karl now. We have an opportunity to expose the entire Bush Iraqi failure to people in states like CO, Arkansas and Nev.

In Nevada they know about lies and bad planning because of the waste dump issue.

We can help change the most important of polls--the Big One on 11/2--by being armchair warriors for truth and getting very clear about this ourselves and then emailing media and everyone we know.

Focus on the total lack of planning for the entire war. Focus on the reality-based truth that serious planners at the Pentagon wanted to invade with 400,000 plus troops. The 'overwhelming force" Powell Doctrine. And Rumsfeld said no.

They thought Iraq would be a cake walk. They wanted to prove how cheap, easy and casualty free war is SO THEY COULD DO LOTS OF THEM. Pre-emption first.

The Powell Doctrine aims to prevent war, to avoid another Vietnam. The whole point of the Powell Doctrine is to AVOID ANOTHER VIETNAM.

The point of the Rumsfeld theory is to be able to use force anytime you please. That means few troops. So, Rumsfeld hacked and trimmed and wore them down until "Tommy drank the Kool-Aid". Which was how it was described on the PBS Rumsfeld special last night about what happened when Tommy Franks agreed to go troop-lite.

It's the strategy, stupid. The missing 380 tons of explosives have exposed that Bush and Rumsfeld's lack of planning--all over Iraq--armed the insurgents.

And Rove's Last Stand is to make this story about media conspiracy, or about "there's alot of unconfirmed aspects" and not about Republican incompetency.

Don't let him.

Josh Marshall at TalkingPointsMemo.com theorizes that there are people at the Pentagon working against Bush now. That's why the budget leak and the need for troops leak.

Looks right.

Bush and Cheney are clueless about war. They don't know the horrors of being there.

The Generals do. That's why the Powell Doctrine was developed.

The military are having their shock and awe now.
They want to make sure the Powell Doctrine is never ignored again.

A former UN weapons inspector said on CNN last night that Washington had led experts to believe that the missing explosives were safe "after the fall of Baghdad."

David Albright, former U.N. weapons inspector, currently president of the Institute for Science and International Security in Washington,
was on CNN last night. Most of the world missed this.

And CNN is not mentioning it today.

But Albright was cool, calm and loaded for bear.

ALBRIGHT: It was well known (explosives location) and, in fact, I can remember talking to people after the fall of Baghdad about these explosives,
particularly the HMX that was there...

....  And so it was in the minds of the inspectors. Those concerns were expressed to governments, including the U.S., and the result that came back was, "Don't worry about it. I mean we've got it under control."

He also said the facility would require extensive searching to fully determine if explosives were there.

"ALBRIGHT: And when I listen to the latest statements from the Pentagon...that somehow this high explosive disappeared before the Marines got there, I'm just as troubled.

I mean it says they didn't even notice it was gone and it would imply that since it went missing before they got there that Saddam Hussein may have planned to disperse this high explosive to insurgent groups. And so it may all be in the hands of insurgents, which is even a worse picture than I would have anticipated. "

Chris Suellentrop/Slate reported last week that Bush had changed his schedule not to go to Crawford. Bulge speculation was rampant. Bush announced the change, but he went anyway. Stayed last night, and returning tonight. Medical bulge adjustment? If Rove could have gotten the bulge out of the 3rd debate he would have. And it was there bulging in Debate 3...? Why the schedule feint? Cheney is home in Wyoming too.

Shows all playing the Wolf spot, and leaving off the lieing first sentence-- "After the first attack"--that refers to World Trade Center, not 9/11. And no one's mentioning wolves were chosen to play to NM and CO "wise use" (they claim, of the land) righties who shoot the released gray wolves. Wolves eat cattle, they claim. It's Bush code for we're still planning to strip mine the environment.

And they're all mentioning the 2000 drunk driving affect, without noting Knight Ridder's Friday story revealling a new potential drug charge penalty in 1973.

Bush wasn't "working full time to help kids". He was doing forced community service because of drugs. A co-worker's minister told her she had to be truthful now if asked. Others substantiate. And "Rathergate" may be preventing investigation.

"Is Ohio the New Florida?" The Miami Herald asks.
For good reason.

The NY Times lead story this Saturday morning exposes how 3600 Republican poll monitors (versus 2000 Dems) have registered by Friday's 4pm deadline to "monitor" the election.

They are legally in the polling places to challenge voters, especially the newly registered. "I call them ringers" says a Cuyahoga County co-chair.

Rove retros to the most despicable '50's values: voter intimidation. Scare 'em to stay home. Frustrate them on Election Day with the bickering monitors to clog the process so long lines will disenfranchise the busy.

Also, over 70% of Ohio voters will be using "chad style" punch card ballots. No doubt experienced Republican vote counters will be available for advice.

But that Friday deadline exposes the tactics. Florida didn't have that early warning. And now there's a better chance for Ohio media to report the relocating of indicted South Dakota fraudsters to Ohio.

In Ohio, there's time to educate. There's time to turn this into Ohio Outrage that backfires.  

Ohio has early voting. A judge forced provisional ballots. The poll monitors are paid $100 bucks. They won't all be good at all-day hatred and shouting.

Keep Ohio media investigating. Not just today, but all next week. Send them on the South Dakota trail. Here's the list of Ohio newspapers and TV stations:

This isn't Florida, 2000. No one is naive. And the true believers are not just stoop-to-anything Rovians but screaming angry Democrats voting with strong memories of a stolen election. No hundred buck '50's retro poll monitor will stop them. "We Shall Overcome".

Perhaps Rove just wants to dilute the legal squad.
Move the A-list to Ohio, dilute Florida. Most likely, besides the goal of stealing Ohio, he's looking to make chaos. The public doesn't want a long, messy count. "Fake it 'til you make it" is Rove's recount strategy.

The good news is that the real electoral race is in Wisconsin and Minnesota where they have same day registration.
